Who Likes Covers?

I have a disturbing fascination with covers of songs. I dig them up out of nowhere, to having a vast collection of the mainstream, to knowing some songs are covers when other people think they are by the original artists.

This weeks Friday song shall yet again be a cover. I thought I needed to post a song that EVERYONE knew, and even though the song isn't exactly an upbeat topic, since its done by the Punk Rock band Me First and the Gimmee Gimees... Its upbeat in my book.

So, I bring to you, a song penned by Prince, made famous by Sinead O'Conner, and being performed by Me First and the Gimmee Gimees. That's right, "Nothing Compares 2 U."
