My counter has embedded javascript in it that tracks my visitors. Tells me how they got here, how long they stayed, if they are returning visitors, what operating system they use, their screen resolution, what web browser... tons of stuff.
Holy crap! I had no idea a counter could do that. All I have is a Magic 8 Ball. If I'd done more homework, I might still be employed. But I have to say, I'm enjoying the break.
