Where Have You Been?
Alas, I am returneth...
Had a bit of a long weekend. I'll sum it up.
Friday - wedding rehearsal and dinner.
Saturday - wedding, where i am forced to wear clothing of the Bride and Grooms choosing, that being a black tux with baby blue tie and vest, along with the most painful shoes ever. I still believe these shoes are for foot binding, stage one.
Sunday - limp around house for a bit, relax, then go to work.
Monday - School AM, Work PM.
Excellent wedding I might add.
Maybe now I can get caught up on peoples blogs, and actually post something here, besides this drivel.

i was about to post a memorial for you. glad you're back.
p.s. unless your shoes had 4 inch heels attached to them, i don't want to hear about it.
I second that comment about the heels -
My feet were in pain within two minutes of putting the shoes on, without even walking. Its beyond heel. although, the shoes had about 2 inches worth of heel on them, weren't broken in, and had no arch support.
so, i would like to know how your feet would feel wearing shoes such as, if your body weight was increased to 260 lbs.
:-p
try it with a heel, with insanely high arches, and bad feet (both of my feet are bad, in seperate ways... i broke the ball of my right foot years ago and it never healed properly and i think i tore a muscle in my left foot that never healed properly last summer.)
shoes in general are bad. heels are even worse.

rachel-no, i do not wish to try it with a larger heel than the 2 inches or so that were on those dress shoes. I never plan on wearing heels in my life. They look painful.
-BUT-
just because they exist and are common in womens fashion, doesn't mean I can't complain about a horrible pair of $5 tux rental shoes.
I had no choice on the shoes. I didn't pick them out. I never thought they looked cute. I never had any desire to wear them. The only reason why I wore them is because I was one of the tuxedo'd.
hell, my idea of a good wedding involves me, the woman I marry, a minister dressed as Elvis at a chapel in Vegas, and some cracked out guy and a prostitute as witnesses.
oh, dude, complain on. i am just telling you about the horrors of heels. it was more like buddy bitching.
i don't 'wear heels unless i have to. i don't actually wear shoes unless i am forced.

rachel-gotcha. I had just been put on the defensive with this one.
people telling me my feet can't hurt... heh.
*giggles*
