There's a good chance I'm just behind on this one, since I haven't turned a TV on in 4 months...
Why do they have to do sequals to any good movie?
Why must they do them ten years after the fact,with a different director*, and obviously missing the whole point of why the original was so great?

problem-no kevin smith for clerks two. Directed by someone else, and being that silent bob was shown WAY the fuck off in the background... i bet its not even kevin smith playing him.
I will see the movie and all, just because it is a sequal to a great movie.
i was just killing time on IMDB, and i noticed that Clerks 2 was written and directed by Smith. it also says something about him claiming this film is his best yet. it's seems to be getting decent reviews so far...

I swore I read somewhere that kevin smith wasn't doing it... besides, I thought his last Jay and Silent bob related movie was over with the horrid "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back."
I'd love to be wrong about him not doing it... but i still stand by being a bit worried about a sequel to Clerks... plus the movie is actually IN COLOR?!?!? WTF!?!?!?
