One Cover
I finally heard Mary J. Blige's cover of One by U2.
No sir, I don't like it. Its not a knock on her voice, its amazing. At times I thought she was doing a great version, but in the overall picture, she just made up her own music. Different notes all over the place. Sorry, but a cover has to have some amount of truth to the original, be it a serious one, or a joking far fetched one.
Now... a good cover of One would be this... done by the man in black himself.
